Job summary

Securitas US Business Unit is hiring a Floating Security Officer - Part Time in Arkansas City, KS. The role monitors premises, enforces regulations, and serves client employees and visitors with professional security presence.

You must be 18+, with a high school diploma or GED, and have solid computer skills. Training and uniforms are provided; weekly pay is included.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent customer service and professional demeanor are required.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Experience in security, law enforcement, or military is a plus.
• Must be willing to undergo pre-employment screening including drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity.
• Ensure post orders are followed and rounds completed.
• Provide customer service and information to employees and guests.
• Operate technology devices used during shifts.
• Conduct tours of the property.

Floating Security Officer - Part Time

Primary Location: Arkansas City, KS

Wage Range:$13.50-$14.75/HR

TheFloating Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
