Securitas USA in Arkansas City, KS is seeking a Floating Security Officer for a part-time position. The role offers a wage range of $13.50-$14.75 per hour and involves monitoring premises, access control, and patrolling diverse client sites.

Responsibilities include de-escalation, reporting safety issues, and providing customer service to employees and guests while using security tech throughout shifts. Requires 18+, HS diploma, and reliable, independent work ethic.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Wage Range: $13.50-$14.75/HR

The Floating Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
