Securitas US Business Unit is hiring a Flex Security Officer (Part Time) in Kansas City, MO. The role focuses on maintaining a safe environment through access control, patrols, and enforcing site directives. You will interact with client staff and visitors while using security tech tools throughout shift.

Applicants should be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, and demonstrate strong customer service and teamwork. Willingness to participate in pre-employment screening is required.

Flex Security Officer - Part Time

Primary Location: Kansas City, MO

Wage Range: $15.00-$18.50/HR

The Flex Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.


• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.


• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.


• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.


• Provide customer service and information to theclient’s employees and guests.


• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.


• Conduct tours of the property.


• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.


• High School Diploma or GED required.


• Above average computer / technology skills needed.


• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.


• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.


• Must be able to work independently.


• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.


• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.


• Must have a professional demeanor.


• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
