Merchants- is seeking a customer-focused Retail Banker (Float) to support multiple Alabama branches within a 50-mile radius, including Daphne, Fairhope, and Gulf Shores. The role demands accuracy in processing transactions and delivering exceptional service.

You will balance cash drawers, assist with digital banking, identify customer needs for referrals, and maintain confidentiality and compliance while adapting to different branch environments.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Retail Banking experience required.
• Cash handling experience required.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between branch locations within 50 miles.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, transfers, and other banking services.
• Provide outstanding customer service by building and maintaining positive relationships.
• Balance cash drawers and follow cash handling procedures.
• Assist customers with digital banking services and enrollment.
• Identify customer needs and refer to appropriate Bank products or services.
• Support branch operations and travel between locations within the 50-mile radius.
