Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Healthcare setting experience preferred.
• Able to learn medical terminology and coding basics.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient flow from entry to destination in a timely, professional manner.
• Obtain and verify financial and demographic information for accurate billing and clinical outcomes.
• Schedule appointments and procedures.
• Interview patients for medical information and explain charges and policies; validate and enter charges into systems; collect payments.
• Answer incoming calls and direct patients and visitors appropriately.
