Job summary

Homestead is hiring a Floating Regional Manager for our senior living facilities. The role focuses on leading operations, staffing, and compliance while covering shifts as needed. Travel will be required across metro Detroit and Mid-Michigan.

The ideal candidate has health care experience with seniors, strong organizational and computer skills, and the ability to manage multiple facilities effectively. This position requires visiting and coordinating across sites regularly.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall operations of senior living facilities and cover shifts as needed.
• Hire, coach, and perform management of staff; supervise daily operations and discipline.
• Develop and ensure compliance with state regulations, policies and procedures.
• Manage staff schedules and staffing budgets to maintain low turnover.
• Travel across regions to oversee facilities in metro Detroit and Mid-Michigan.

Homestead is hiring a Floating Regional Manager for our senior living facilities. At Homestead, our goal is to improve the quality of life for each of our residents. The Floating Regional Manager monitors the overall operations of Senior Living facilities and promotes the successful implementation of the company's mission and strategic goals. A strong skill you need is the ability to lead; you will also be assisting with covering shifts on a as needed basis. Travel will be required, the regions covered will be metro Detroit and Mid-Michigan.

Experience and duties:

• Experience caring for seniors
• Previous management experience including hiring, coaching, performance management, daily operations supervision and discipline
• Develops a thorough working knowledge of state regulations, policies and procedures dictated for residents; ensures compliance
• Drives low turnover of staff by utilizing best practices
• Reviews staff schedules and adheres to the staffing budgets
• Expresses expectations both verbally and in writing
• Perceived as fair and consistent by team members
• Is an advocate for both residents and team members
