Job summary

Sterling Group is seeking a Floating Property Manager to provide temporary onsite leadership and operational support across multiple communities. The role covers leasing, resident relations, collections, reporting, and daily operations.

Expect frequent travel to support the portfolio and ensure strong performance and compliance. You will coach onsite teams, conduct inspections, prepare leadership reports, and manage administrative duties while upholding Fair Housing requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum three years of residential property management experience.
• Strong knowledge of leasing, collections, resident relations, and property operations.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Yardi.

Responsibilities

• Provide temporary onsite leadership and operational support at assigned communities.
• Oversee leasing, resident relations, collections, reporting, and daily property operations.
• Travel frequently to provide onsite coverage throughout the portfolio.
• Coach, train, and support onsite team members to improve operational performance.
• Prepare reports and communicate findings, risks, and recommendations to leadership.
• Complete administrative responsibilities, tracking tools, and management reporting.
• Reinforce company policies, procedures, and Fair Housing requirements.
• Conduct property inspections, audits, and operational reviews.
