The role involves managing the apartment community as a business unit, training and supervising on-site staff, and driving marketing and financial results. Applicants should have at least 1 year of on-site property management experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage budgets and vendor relations.

Qualifications

YOU MUST have a minimum of 1 year of experience of property management with a proven track record of exceeding owners' expectations, as well asa valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance coverage. YOU MUST possess the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with residents, staff, supervisors, vendors, and contractors to ensure the efficient and profitable operation of the apartment community! Position Summary:

The Property Manager will manage the apartment community as a business unit to achieve pre-determined marketing and financial results and will train, supervise, and motivate on-site office team members.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assists Regional Manager in maintaining the physical asset and maximizing the financial returns from that asset in accordance with the owners' objectives.
• Responsible for hiring, training, and supervising all community team members.
• Ensures staff compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensures staff performance of duties on a timely basis.
• Assists with special projects and administrative tasks.
• Manages multiple properties.
• Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: Marketing, leasing, financial reporting and control, and resident relations.

Experience/Skills:

• On-site experience with at least 1 year of experience as a Property Manager is required.
• Must be a strong team player with good communication and people skills and the ability to solve problems, manage time and set priorities.
• Must be detail-oriented, flexible, and well organized.
• Must have a working knowledge of computers, finance, management, and marketing.
• Must have Experience using property management software (highly preferred).
• Must be capable of preparing and analyzing budgets/financial forecasts and working within a budget.
• CAM or other property management certification preferred.
