S&S Property Management Inc. is seeking an energetic Property Manager for Candlewood and Southwood properties in Nashville, TN.

The role involves managing the apartment community as a business unit, training and supervising on-site staff, and driving marketing and financial results. Applicants should have at least 1 year of on-site property management experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage budgets and vendor relations.

Qualifications

• 1 year of on-site property management experience.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Detail-oriented, flexible and well organized.
• Working knowledge of computers, finance, management and marketing.
• Experience using property management software preferred.
• Able to prepare and analyze budgets/forecasts within a budget.
• CAM or other property management certification preferred.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assists Regional Manager in maintaining the asset and maximizing financial returns.
• Responsible for hiring, training, and supervising all community team members.
• Ensures staff compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensures staff performance of duties on a timely basis.
• Assists with special projects and administrative tasks.
• Manages multiple properties.
• Marketing, leasing, financial reporting and resident relations.
