Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Tifton, GA. This role involves traveling to IOPs, PSCs, Walgreens, and standalone locations across Albany, Tifton, Valdosta, and surrounding counties.

Expect variable schedule with overtime as needed and a focus on accurate data entry and exceptional patient service. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections for all ages, prepare specimens for testing, and handle billing when required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• Preferred: 2+ years of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
