Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Columbus, OH, with coverage at multiple sites and travel as needed. The role emphasizes blood collection, accurate data entry, and patient service across varied locations.

The position offers a daily schedule, incentives, and comprehensive benefits. A high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or equivalent experience are required, with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
