Job summary

Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC seeks a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract in the Austin, TX area. The role floats to multiple Austin-area locations and follows a Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm schedule; longer daytime hours may be needed. Responsibilities include blood draws, labeling, centrifuging specimens, and accurate data recording, explaining the process to patients while following safety protocols.

Mileage is paid. Minimum qualifications: valid state Phlebotomy certification, 6+ months venipuncture

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification required by state.
• Minimum 6 months venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Experience performing blood draws, labeling and centrifuging specimens.
• Collects and stores specimens per established procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients; follow safety protocols.
