Job summary

Publix Pharmacy is seeking a Floating Pharmacist to join a patient-centric team delivering immunizations, MTM, and counseling across multiple pharmacy locations. You will support the pharmacist-on-duty, supervise staff, and ensure timely prescription processing while upholding Publix standards.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of a school of pharmacy.
• Must have and maintain an unrestricted, state pharmacist license.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must not have active suspensions, sanctions, or other restrictions related to participation in a private, federal, or state health insurance program upon hire and thereafter.
• Must not have received an unacceptable result on a company-sponsored drug test within the last three years.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedication to each pharmacy's success, by executing strategy, motivating and inspiring staff as the pharmacist-on-duty.
• Set priorities to maximize contribution, executing daily tasks, supporting the team and building rapport with customers and associates.
• Provide best-in-class pharmacy service to patients, counseling and promoting customer loyalty and MTM/immunizations.
• Inspire teams to do the right thing, gain buy-in, and empower accountability.
• Manage performance and ensure timely completion of complex tasks in the absence of the pharmacist-in-charge.
