Job summary

Publix Pharmacy is seeking a Floating Pharmacist to provide patient‑centered care across locations. You will lead pharmacy operations as the pharmacist‑on‑duty, deliver counseling, immunizations, and MTM services, and mentor staff to uphold Publix standards.

You will advance clinical initiatives, manage prescription processing, and adapt to evolving patient needs while maintaining an engaging, service‑oriented environment across our pharmacy team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Graduate of a school of pharmacy.
• Must have and maintain an unrestricted, state pharmacist license.
• Must not have active suspensions, sanctions, or other restrictions related to participation in a health insurance program upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedication to each pharmacy's success as the pharmacist-on-duty.
• Set priorities to maximize contribution and support the team.
• Deliver best-in-class pharmacy service through counseling and personalized relationships.
• Mentor staff on Publix pharmacy best practices to maximize sales and minimize shrink.
• Advance pharmacy clinical initiatives such as MTM and immunizations.
• Maintain a flexible work-week schedule to meet customer needs.
• Assist in other duties as assigned.
