Job summary

Publix Pharmacy is seeking a Floating Pharmacist to support multiple pharmacy locations with patient-centric care. You will lead pharmacy operations on duty, counsel patients, and advance clinical services such as MTM and immunizations.

The role emphasizes teamwork, efficiency, and community wellness while offering growth across many Publix pharmacy areas. As a key member of the team, you will mentor colleagues, manage workflows, and ensure excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be a graduate of a school of pharmacy.
• Must have and maintain an unrestricted, state pharmacist license.
• Must not have active suspensions, sanctions, or other restrictions related to participation in a health insurance program at hire.
• Must not have a recent unacceptable drug test result.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class pharmacy service to patients and counsel customers.
• Motivate and inspire staff as the pharmacist-on-duty.
• Set priorities to maximize contribution and ensure tasks are completed timely.
• Manage team performance including prescription promised times.
• Be an expert on pharmacy technology and operations.
• Mentor staff on Publix pharmacy practices to maximize sales and customer care.
• Advance MTM and immunization initiatives.
• Maintain a flexible work-week schedule to meet customer needs.
