Job summary

Publix Pharmacy is seeking a Floating Pharmacist to deliver high-quality patient care across our pharmacy locations. You will serve as the pharmacist-on-duty, set daily priorities, counsel patients, and support coworkers to ensure outstanding service and accuracy.

Responsibilities include driving clinical initiatives like MTM and immunizations, mentoring staff, and maintaining flexibility to meet customer needs across locations within the Publix network.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be a graduate of a school of pharmacy.
• Must have and maintain an unrestricted, state pharmacist license.
• Must not have active suspensions or sanctions related to participation in any health insurance program.
• Must not have had an unacceptable drug test result within the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedication to each pharmacy's success as the pharmacist-on-duty.
• Set priorities to maximize contribution and support the team.
• Offer pharmacist-led clinical services to improve health and wellness.
• Mentor staff on Publix pharmacy best practices.
• Advance MTM and immunizations initiatives.
• Maintain a flexible work-week schedule to meet customer needs.
