Job summary

Publix Pharmacy is seeking a Floating Pharmacist to support clinical services such as immunizations and MTM while delivering patient-centered care. The role focuses on enhancing pharmacy services across locations and maintaining high standards of accuracy in dispensing.

The position emphasizes leadership, team support, and ongoing clinical initiatives, with collaboration across pharmacy teams to improve health outcomes in Publix communities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Graduate of a school of pharmacy with an unrestricted license.
• Must hold an unrestricted state pharmacist license.
• Must not have active suspensions, sanctions, or other restrictions related to participation in a health insurance program.
• Must not have an unacceptable result on a company-sponsored drug test within the last three years.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class pharmacy service to patients, counsel and build relationships.
• Lead as pharmacist-on-duty, setting priorities and inspiring staff.
• Ensure timely prescription processing and maintain operational efficiency in the absence of the pharmacist-in-charge.
• Utilize pharmacy technology for routine and complex dispensing.
• Mentor colleagues on Publix pharmacy best practices and patient care.
• Advance MTM and immunization initiatives to improve health and wellness at Publix.
