Job summary

Publix Pharmacy in Florida is seeking a Floating Pharmacist to contribute across multiple locations, delivering patient-centered care and ensuring consistent service.

You will lead pharmacy operations as pharmacist-on-duty, mentor staff, and promote immunizations and MTM, with a flexible weekly schedule to meet customer needs.

Candidates must be licensed pharmacists, able to coordinate with teams and manage complex tasks while maintaining high standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be a graduate of a school of pharmacy and hold an unrestricted state pharmacist license.
• Must have and maintain an unrestricted, state pharmacist license.
• Must not have active suspensions, sanctions, or other restrictions related to participation in a private, federal, or state health insurance program upon hire and thereafter.
• Must not have received an unacceptable result on a company-sponsored drug test within the last three years.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class pharmacy service to patients through counseling, building relationships and MTM.
• As pharmacist-on-duty, set priorities, supervise staff, and ensure timely task completion.
• Proactively advance MTM and immunization initiatives and promote clinic services.
• Maintain knowledge of the pharmacy technology system for routine and complex processing.
