Job summary

Ameris Bank is seeking a flexible Personal Banker/Teller who will float between banking centers to grow customer relationships. You’ll conduct financial profiles, educate clients on products, and target cross-sell opportunities while maintaining accurate teller duties and service standards.

The role requires 1+ years in customer service, cash handling or sales experience, and a high school diploma or GED; a business degree is a plus. Travel between branches is possible.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience required.
• Cash handling or sales experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a consultant to customers by conducting financial profiles and identifying needs.
• Cross-sell and upsell opportunities to attract, expand, and retain relationships.
• Float between banking centers to support customer and team needs.
• Open new accounts and service existing accounts; provide backup support to branches.
• Perform teller duties when needed and handle complex transactions with accuracy.
