Job summary

Ameris Bank seeks a floating Teller/Personal Banker to serve customers across banking centers, conducting financial profiles, identifying needs, and expanding relationships.

You will balance daily transactions, open new accounts, provide back-up support to branches, and contribute to the bank's sales and service goals. A high school diploma is required; a business degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience required.
• Cash handling or sales experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as consultant to customers by conducting financial profiles and identifying needs.
• Cross-sell and up-sell opportunities to expand and retain client relationships.
• Operate teller line and perform advanced teller functions including researching cash discrepancies.
• Open new accounts and service existing accounts; achieve defined sales and service goals.
• Provide backup support to other branches as needed.
