Job summary

American Property Management is seeking an on-site maintenance technician to support multiple multifamily communities in the Bellevue area. You will help get units rent ready, perform routine maintenance, and keep grounds and common areas in top condition while adhering to safety standards and company policies.

The role requires 1+ years in multifamily or hotel maintenance, reliable transportation, and the ability to provide your own basic hand tools.

Qualifications

1+ years’ experience in multifamily or hotel maintenance required within the last 10 years.
2+ years’ experience preferred.
Trades experience will be considered.
Must be well‑versed in the unit turn process from start to finish.
Must have experience in tracking and maintaining inventory.
Must provide your own basic hand tools – the Company will provide power tools.
Experience providing great customer service to residents and/or customers is required.
HVAC certification preferred.
Reliable transportation is required.
CPO certification preferred.
High school diploma or GED required.
Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Proficient in effective communication and teamwork.
Maintains a positive outlook and embraces a collaborative team approach.

Responsibilities

Must be able to exemplify and exercise discretion and sound independent judgment to evaluate quality of work.
Assist in getting units “rent ready” and abide by safety requirements at all times.
Safely use chemicals and equipment as part of everyday duties.
Maintain grounds, work and storage areas on a daily basis to ensure curb appeal up to company standards.
Paint and clean as needed to ensure timely unit turnover.
Ensure lawns are mowed and entryways, walkways and driveways are blown and free of debris.
Ensure equipment is serviced on a regular basis to maintain safe operations.
Must be able to be on‑call for emergencies or snow removal.
Maintain and enforce all company policies and procedures as established in the Operations Manual.
