Job summary

American Property Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team at Briarstone, Bellamonte, and Terravista communities near Tacoma, WA. You will perform unit turnover, upkeep, repairs, and safety-compliant maintenance while delivering great resident service.

The role requires 1+ year of multifamily or hotel maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and basic hand tools. HVAC certification is preferred; company provides power tools.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in multifamily or hotel maintenance within the last 10 years.
• Experience tracking and maintaining inventory.
• Fluent in English with strong reading, speaking and writing skills.
• Must provide basic hand tools; power tools provided by company.

Responsibilities

• Assist in getting units rent ready.
• Abide by safety requirements at all times.
• Maintain grounds, paint and clean as needed for unit turnover.
• Ensure lawns, entryways and walkways are clean and debris-free.
• Maintain equipment and arrange on-call availability for emergencies.
