Upperline Health is seeking a Float Medical Assistant to support physicians in the clinic setting. The role covers the Sand Lake area as needed and involves clinical and administrative tasks.

Ideal candidates have podiatry or orthopedic experience and X-ray skills, along with strong computer proficiency and medical terminology knowledge. Responsibilities include rooming patients, reviewing histories, charting, taking X-rays, stocking exam rooms, and maintaining sterile environments.

Qualifications

• Experience as Medical Assistant; MA Certification a plus.
• Podiatry or Orthopedic clinic experience preferred.
• X-ray experience is a plus.
• Excellent computer skills and strong knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsabilités

• Place patients in exam rooms and prepare them for physician.
• Complete exam intake including medical, social, surgical histories.
• Ensure accurate charting for the physician.
• Take and develop X-rays and assist in the exam room as required.
• Perform daily administrative tasks (stock rooms, dispose trash).
• Sterilize exam and X-ray rooms and instruments daily.
• Meet quality measures and audits.
