Rental Housing Journal LLC in Los Angeles seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to service a portfolio of multifamily properties.Travel between properties daily, perform turnkey make-readies, respond to maintenance requests, and ensure quality workmanship across the portfolio.

The role requires strong drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC skills, plus the ability to work independently and manage multiple work orders using mobile software.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of apartment or residential maintenance experience required.
• Proficient in drywall, painting, and apartment make-readies.
• Solid knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, and HVAC.
• Ability to travel between properties in the Los Angeles area and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Travel between multiple apartment properties in the Los Angeles area on a daily basis.
• Complete apartment make-readies, including drywall/texture repairs, painting, fixtures, doors, hardware, and minor flooring repairs.
• Respond to maintenance requests involving plumbing, electrical, appliances, and HVAC.
• Manage, update, and close work orders using mobile property management software.
• Maintain consistent workmanship and property standards across the portfolio.

Responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs across a portfolio of multifamily apartment properties throughout the Los Angeles area. Duties include apartment turnovers, drywall and painting, minor plumbing and electrical repairs, appliance and HVAC maintenance, responding to work orders, and completing property improvement projects. Must be dependable, self-motivated, experienced in residential maintenance, and able to travel between properties while maintaining quality workmanship and timely service

$25–$30 per hour, depending on experience

An owner-operated multifamily investment group with apartment buildings throughout the Los Angeles area is seeking an experienced, dependable Maintenance Technician. This position involves traveling to and working at multiple properties throughout Los Angeles, handling unit turns, maintenance requests, repairs, and improvement projects.
