Job summary

Bell Properties, Inc. is seeking a Roving Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of maintenance tasks across multiple properties in Los Angeles County, CA. This on-site role requires mobility between sites and hands-on expertise in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.

You will respond to requests, inspect units and common areas, keep detailed records, and ensure safety standards. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required, with occasional evenings and weekends

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in residential property maintenance.
Proficiency in basic maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks.
Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
Willingness to use personal vehicle for work travel within the designated service area.
Occasional evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance across multiple properties including plumbing, electrical, appliance, HVAC, and carpentry tasks.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete work orders in a timely manner.
Inspect units and common areas to identify maintenance needs and address issues proactively.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, materials used, and time spent on each task.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Communicate effectively with property managers, residents, and vendors to coordinate maintenance activities and provide updates on progress.
Assist with turnover maintenance such as painting, cleaning, and minor repairs.
Troubleshoot equipment and systems and perform repairs as needed to minimize downtime.
Use personal vehicle to travel between properties within the service area.
Provide excellent customer service to residents.
