Los Angeles Property Management Group (LAPMG) is seeking a Floater Maintenance Technician to maintain a diverse portfolio of properties across Los Angeles County. This full-time role offers a dynamic environment with growth opportunities and a strong benefits package.

The technician will handle electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and painting tasks, ensure quality and compliance with California codes, and coordinate with managers and inspectors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in property maintenance, construction, or remodeling.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish to serve diverse communities.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of maintenance tasks including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and painting across multiple properties.
• Complete unit turnovers, remodels, renovations, and preventive maintenance for residential and commercial properties.
• Ensure work meets high-quality standards and California codes.
• Coordinate with supervisors, onsite managers, and city inspectors to complete work orders on time.
• Manage and update work orders using AppFolio and QuickBooks.
• Deliver excellent customer service to residents and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and painting, across multiple properties.
• Complete unit turnovers, remodels, renovations, ongoing repairs, and preventive maintenance for both residential and commercial properties.
• Ensure all work meets high-quality standards and complies with California building codes.
• Coordinate with supervisors, onsite managers, and city inspectors to ensure timely and effective completion of work orders.
• Manage and update work orders using property management software such as AppFolio and QuickBooks.
• Deliver excellent customer service to residents and property stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid, unrestricted California driver’s license and current vehicle insurance.
• Full set of maintenance tools.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on experience in property maintenance, construction, or remodeling.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish to serve diverse communities.
• Experience using AppFolio or Property Meld (preferred).
• Highly organized with strong project management skills (preferred).

Compensation

$25.00 – $30.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
