Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Floating Maintenance Technician to perform a broad range of building repairs across our properties. You will address electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds tasks, while delivering great resident service and upholding curb appeal.

You will follow work orders, coordinate with the maintenance supervisor, and participate in emergency coverage as needed. A valid driver’s license and strong safety mindset are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience in property management or related field.
• General maintenance and carpentry skills.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Address a range of apartment and property maintenance duties as directed by supervisor/manager.
• Perform repairs in electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds maintenance as required.
• Conduct proactive preventive maintenance (siding, painting, lighting, sprinklers, elevators, etc.).
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion to standards and resident satisfaction.
