Job summary

Avenue5 Residential in California is seeking a Floating Maintenance Technician to address a range of apartment and property maintenance duties, ensuring high standards of customer service and curb appeal at assigned properties.

The role involves electrical, plumbing, appliance, carpentry, HVAC, grounds maintenance, and preventative tasks, along with safety compliance, on-call support, and timely work-order completion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of experience in property management or related field.
• General maintenance and carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance functions including repairs to electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry and HVAC.
• Perform general carpentry duties such as wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, window/glass repair, door/lock repair, and tile repair.
• Proactive preventative maintenance including siding, painting, lighting, sprinkler and grounds.
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion to company standards and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect property grounds, buildings and amenities to identify safety or maintenance needs.
• Assist with property emergencies and respond promptly per procedures.
• Observe safety and risk management per rules and regulations.
• Interact professionally with current and potential residents to promote satisfaction.
