Job summary

Klein is seeking a Floating Maintenance Technician to support several properties, performing preventive and corrective maintenance with a hands-on approach. You will respond to service requests, prepare units for occupancy, and coordinate with the Service Manager on safety and efficiency.

The role requires 3+ years of property maintenance experience, EPA 608, HVAC/CFC certs, and a valid driver’s license. On-call duties, snow removal, and nights/weekends are expected as assigned.

Qualifications

• 3 years of property or facilities maintenance experience.
• EPA Section 608 Certification is REQUIRED.
• HVAC/CFC certification is required and driver’s license is valid in PA/NJ/FL.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests with professionalism and efficiency.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy with attention to detail.
• Handle a wide range of building repairs without outside vendors unless directed.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, systems, and grounds.
• Address issues with plumbing, lighting, HVAC, and structural elements.
• Maintain preventive maintenance protocols with the Service Manager.
• Be available for after-hours and on-call duties as scheduled.
• Maintain and track inventory of tools and equipment.
• Keep maintenance areas organized, OSHA-compliant.
