Job summary

The Klein Co. is seeking a Floating Maintenance Technician to support multiple luxury apartment properties in the Blue Bell area. You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and emergency responses to keep residents safe and satisfied.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of property or facilities maintenance, EPA 608, HVAC/CFC certs, and a valid driver's license. This full-time role includes on-call rotations and snow removal duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in property or facilities maintenance (residential or commercial).
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• EPA Section 608 Certification - REQUIRED.
• HVAC/CFC certification required.
• Valid PA/NJ/FL driver’s license.
• Familiarity with Fair Housing laws.
• Own and maintain a standard set of hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete resident service requests with professionalism and efficiency.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy with close attention to detail.
• Handle a wide range of building repairs without reliance on outside vendors unless directed.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, systems, and grounds.
• Address issues with plumbing, lighting, HVAC, and structural elements before they become costly problems.
• Work with the Service Manager to maintain and improve preventive maintenance protocols.
• Be available for after-hours and on-call duties as scheduled.
• Maintain and track inventory of tools and equipment.
• Keep maintenance areas organized, clean, and OSHA-compliant.
