Job summary

ECI Group is seeking a Floating Leasing Manager to provide leasing leadership, operational support, and coverage across communities in our portfolio. You will travel between properties, lead and develop leasing consultants, and step into leadership roles as needed to maintain performance and continuity.

You will drive occupancy, rent growth, and resident satisfaction while managing day-to-day operations, training new hires, and ensuring adherence to company policies and Fair Housing standards.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel extensively between properties (50–85%).
• 3+ years leasing experience with leadership/mentorship.
• Experience supporting or overseeing site-level operations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and resident retention focus.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing and ADA regulations.
• Proficient with property mgmt software (Yardi, EliseAI) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned communities across the portfolio (50–85%).
• Lead, coach, and motivate onsite leasing consultants.
• Provide operations and leadership coverage during absences.
• Onboard and train new leasing hires in policies and procedures.
• Drive lease sales and highlight community lifestyle.
• Guide prospects through qualification and applications.
• Support admin and reporting activities for property management.
• Ensure apartments are ready for move-in and keys issued.
• Deliver outstanding service to residents and support retention.
• Review vacancies and turn readiness; monitor market conditions.
• Represent ECI Group autonomously when Community Manager absent.
• Support resident events and after-hours activities as needed.
• Meet or exceed rental and renewal goals.
• Respond to resident requests and internet leads.
• In absence of Community Manager, may oversee financial performance.
• Report leasing performance to Director of Property Management.
