Job summary

Meritus Property Group is seeking a Multi-Site Floating Porter / Groundskeeper to maintain the cleanliness, curb appeal, and rent-ready presentation across several apartment communities.

You will travel between properties, perform indoor/outdoor cleaning, inspect grounds, assist with vacant unit prep, and report issues to management. Strong attention to detail and reliable, independent work are essential. Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in cleaning, portering, groundskeeping, janitorial work, or related property maintenance support.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and valid automobile insurance.
• Ability to travel between multiple properties and use basic technology (email, apps).
• Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation; able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of assigned property grounds.
• Prepare vacant units for leasing tours to ensure rent-ready presentation.
• Inspect properties and report issues promptly to management.
• Document work performed and use property management software to log tasks.
