Job summary

Qualifications

• EEC Teacher Certification is required.
• At least 9 months to 1 year of relevant experience.
• 12 ECE credits minimum preferred for Head Start classrooms.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in ECE or related field strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children across multiple classrooms with constant oversight.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of an age-appropriate, multicultural curriculum.
• Use positive behavior management techniques to guide children’s behavior.
• Communicate with children positively and with respect; inform parents of development and activities.
• Coordinate transitions between classrooms and maintain health and safety standards.
