Job summary

Magical Beginnings Learning Centers in Plymouth, MA is seeking a Floating Teacher to support multiple classrooms and ensure consistent, high-quality care.

You will substitute for teachers, assist with opening/closing routines, prepare materials, oversee activities, supervise outdoor time, help with diapering and meals, and maintain a clean, safe learning environment while partnering with families.

Qualifications

• EEC Teacher Certification (any age group) or CDA or equivalent degree and experience required.
• Daycare experience in a center-based or private school setting.
• Engaging and energetic demeanor with a love for helping young children meet development goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide substitute coverage when teachers are out or during planning/break times.
• Assist Classroom Teachers with opening/closing routines and classroom setup.
• Prepare materials, engage students in free play, and support daily projects.
• Supervise outdoor time and assist with bathroom needs and snack/lunch time.
• Maintain daily classroom schedule and cleanliness of the school environment.
• Foster age-appropriate interactive activities and positive relationships with students and parents.
