Job summary

Asset Living seeks a TOPS Community Manager Specialist to provide short‑term, on‑site leadership across communities during transitions, vacancies, or new acquisitions. This role mirrors a standard Community Manager with rapid deployment and strict adherence to Asset Living policies and service standards.

Assignments cover multifamily, affordable, BTR, active adult, or student housing environments, with travel a major component to support operations across sites.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of property management experience preferred.
• Ability to learn and execute all on-site software functions.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with standards.
• Provide short‑term supervision, coaching, and direction to on‑site staff.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training needs as requested by Regional leadership.
• Promote teamwork, stability, and performance during transitions.
• Ensure leasing and marketing strategies meet occupancy goals and reporting needs.
• Monitor service requests and coordinate with maintenance and vendors.
• Rapidly assess gaps and provide leadership during turnovers or onboarding.
