Job summary

Redwood Communities is seeking a Floating Community Manager to provide temporary leadership across multiple HUD or multifamily properties. The role requires supervising onsite staff, maintaining policy compliance, and ensuring timely service delivery while managing vendor relations and budget adherence.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years as a Community Manager, strong communication, and experience with HUD and LIHTC programs.

Qualifications

• HUD regulations and Fair Housing compliance knowledge; ability to ensure audit readiness.
• Minimum 3+ years as a Community Manager or higher in multifamily housing (1+ property, 500+ units).
• Proficiency with RealPage and Microsoft Office Suite is required.

Responsibilities

• Act as acting Community Manager at HUD or multifamily properties on a temporary basis.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure smooth transitions between staff.
• Enforce leases, rules, and company policies consistently.
• Manage rents, delinquencies, and financial reporting.
• Support leasing goals and resident relations across properties.
