Job summary

American Property Management is seeking a Community Consultant in Tacoma to tour units, engage prospective tenants, and manage resident relations with excellent service. You will support the rental process from showing to move-in, ensuring timely resolution of issues and accurate reporting to managers.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in customer service, 1+ year in multifamily housing, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in customer service is required.
• 1+ years’ experience in multifamily/student housing within the last 10 years preferred.
• Knowledge of Federal Fair Housing Laws, Landlord/Tenant Laws and ADA laws preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Tour units with prospective tenants and highlight selling points.
• Handle customer and tenant relations and address issues promptly.
• Maintain knowledge of the local area market and prepare reports for managers.
• Host community events and assist residents through the rental process.
