Job summary

American Property Management, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service/Leasing Associate to join our Bellevue-area team. You will tour units with prospective tenants, relay property features, and guide applicants through the rental process on-site.

The role emphasizes strong communication, attention to detail, and knowledge of Fair Housing and tenant laws. A high school diploma and 2+ years in customer service are required; multifamily experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience.
• 1+ years in multifamily housing within last 10 years preferred.
• Knowledge of Federal Fair Housing Laws, Landlord/Tenant Laws and ADA laws preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Demonstrates attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Proficient in effective communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Tour units with prospective tenants and highlight property features.
• Handle tenant relations and ensure prompt, high-quality service.
• Maintain knowledge of the current area market.
• Prepare and maintain reports for managers.
• Host community events and ensure compliance with Quality Standards.
• Assist residents from beginning to end of the rental process.
