Job summary

High Associates is seeking a Floating Apartment Maintenance Technician to support residential communities in Lancaster, PA. The role centers on general maintenance, grounds care, and turnover prep for Greenview Terrace and Barrcrest Manor, with float duties across other properties as needed.

The ideal candidate has basic plumbing, electrical, appliance repair and HVAC knowledge, plus a willingness to work a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule with on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–12 months related building maintenance/grounds experience.
• Working knowledge of plumbing and electrical work.
• Basic knowledge of appliance repair and HVAC.
• Flexibility for scheduled on-call rotation (evenings, weekends, holidays).

Responsibilities

• Complete minor building maintenance duties across High Associates properties.
• Handle plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry and appliance repairs as needed.
• Maintain inventory and logs; requisition supplies for daily operations.
• Inspect buildings/apartments and assist with preventative maintenance on HVAC.
• Care for grounds, plants, and common areas; ensure safety compliance.
• Support the High Philosophy and perform special assignments as directed.
