Job summary

The High Companies is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to support Greenfield Estates in Lancaster, PA. This full-time role requires hands-on maintenance in residential buildings, with on-call rotation and additional compensation for after-hours work.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and 1–3 years of related experience. EPA certification is preferred, along with knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and appliance repair.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• 1–3 years of building maintenance experience preferred.
• Universal EPA Certification preferred.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, painting, HVAC, electrical, and appliance repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform building maintenance duties across properties owned/leased by High Associates.
• Handle requests for general repairs and scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Maintain inventory records and requisition parts as needed.
• Inspect buildings and apartments and plan preventive maintenance on HVAC and other systems.
• Assist with exterior grounds maintenance including seasonal tasks and snow removal.
• Follow safety rules and participate in on-call emergency repairs (every 4th week).
