Job summary

High Associates is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to join the Bentley Ridge team in Lancaster, PA. This full-time role covers a range of building and grounds maintenance, including turnover prep and routine upkeep of homes and common areas.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (or GED), 3–12 months of related maintenance experience, basic plumbing/electrical, and HVAC knowledge, with flexibility for an on-call rotation Monday–Friday, some evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–12 months of experience in general building maintenance.
• Working knowledge of plumbing and electrical work.
• Basic knowledge of appliance repair and HVAC.
• Flexibility to work a scheduled on-call rotation, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Complete minor building maintenance duties and prepare unit turnover as required by service requests.
• Repair general carpentry, drywall, electrical, plumbing and appliance issues.
• Maintain inventory records and requisition supplies as needed.
• Inspect buildings and apartments and assist in preventative maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Maintain grounds, plants and common areas, and ensure safety and cleanliness.
