Cooper Norcross Health is seeking a Clinical Practice Specialist - Medical Assistant for the Float Team in Camden, NJ. This per diem role supports ambulatory settings, assisting providers and handling clerical tasks to keep patient care running smoothly.

The position requires at least one year of healthcare experience, EKG, vital signs, venipuncture, and EHR familiarity, plus a NJ-accredited medical assisting program and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of healthcare experience preferred.
• EKG, vital signs, venipuncture, capillary, and injection experience.
• Electronic health record experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational, written/verbal communication and teamwork skills.
• Outstanding patient experience skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of duties in ambulatory settings, including primary, multi-specialty and specialty practices.
• Assist providers with patient care and handle clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks.
• Provide information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinical services.
• Maintain working knowledge of regulatory standards and ensure daily operations meet them.
• Clinical direction, oversight and competency review is provided by medical providers and ambulatory professional development team in coordination with office management.
