Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of recent medical facility experience as a medical assistant.
• EKG, vital signs, venipuncture and injections experience.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational, written/verbal communication and teamwork skills.
• Demonstrated performance of excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and document vitals, pain, reason for visit, review of medications and history.
• Complete EMR tasks, in-baskets, MyChart messages and orders documentation.
• Assist with appointments, referrals, and patient outreach in a high-volume ambulatory setting.
• May administer vaccines and collect specimens per protocols.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient patient care.
