Job summary

Med-Trans Corporation in Raleigh, NC is hiring a Float Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to maintain and safeguard our Bell 407 fleet, delivering safe, timely patient transportation and high-quality aviation services to communities.

This full‑time AMT role requires an A&P license, Bell 407 experience, FAA knowledge, and the ability to work flexible schedules, including overtime and on‑call rotations; you will perform inspections, document FAA data, manage inventory, and collaborate across

Qualifications

• Bell 407 maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Three (3) years of turbine helicopter maintenance experience with minimum six months in last 24 months.
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
• Valid State driver's license.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge.
• EMS systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
• Must be acceptable in accordance with FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
• Must be able to push/pull 100+ lbs.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks, ensure stock, update equipment tracking log and document expenditures.
• Document service paperwork and FAA information per procedures; comply with information security standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment for aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
• Coordinate with departments, vendors and team members using appropriate communication methods.
• Collaborate with allied health, public safety personnel and operations team.
