Job summary

Global Medical Response’s Med-Trans unit in McComb, MS seeks an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to maintain the Bell 407 airframe and support safe, timely air medical transport. Responsibilities include inspections, repairs, and coordinating with the team.

The ideal candidate holds a valid A&P license, 3+ years of turbine helicopter maintenance, and FAA normally required certifications. Competitive base salary with stipends and a $12,500 sign-on bonus offered.

Qualifications

• Bell 407 maintenance experience or equivalent.
• FAA knowledge of regulations and guidance.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• Must live within an hour of base.
• Must be acceptable in FAA drug and alcohol testing program.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide status updates to Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks and update equipment tracking log; place replacement requests and document expenditures.
• Document service paperwork and FAA information; comply with policies and information security standards.

Skills

Bell 407 maintenance experience

Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge
