Job summary

Med-Trans is seeking a Float Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to maintain and service our rotor-wing fleet, with emphasis on Bell 407 airframes and high safety standards. This full-time role requires flexibility, 24/7 on-call rotations, and adherence to FAA regulations.

The position includes the opportunity to support our air medical transport services, ensuring timely, high-quality patient care and transportation. A&P license and several compensation stipends accompany the role.

Qualifications

Must hold a valid A&P license.
Minimum three years of turbine helicopter maintenance experience with recent activity in last 24 months.
Experience with Bell 407 maintenance preferred.
Valid driver's license.
Knowledge of FAA regulations and EMS/maintenance systems.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, repairs, and status updates to Lead Technician.
Manage inventory checks, update equipment logs, and process replacement requests.
Document service paperwork and FAA information per procedures, maintain security standards.
Maintain a safe, clean working environment for aircraft maintenance and flight crew.
Coordinate with departments, vendors, and team members to facilitate maintenance activities.
Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and operations team.
