Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) in Jacksonville, FL. The role focuses on maintenance and safety of our fleet, specifically supporting Bell 407 airframes, under FAA regulations. The AMT must have an A&P license and live within an hour of the base to ensure timely response and compliance with the FAA drug/alcohol program.

A sign-on bonus is offered. The experienced technician will work with a team to perform inspections, maintenance, and documentation,

Qualifications

Bell 407 maintenance experience.
Three (3) years of turbine helicopter maintenance with last 24 months balance.
Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
Valid State driver's license.
High School diploma or GED.
FAA regulations knowledge.
EMS systems, aircraft maintenance systems tracking.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, repairs and provide regular status updates to Lead Technician.
Manage inventory checks and document part expenditures; update equipment tracking log.
Document service paperwork and FAA information; adhere to policies while complying with security standards.
Maintain a safe and clean workspace for aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
Communicate effectively to coordinate with departments, vendors and team members.
Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel and operations team.
