Job summary

Common Spirit is seeking a Registered Nurse to help plan, deliver and coordinate compassionate nursing care across patient populations. You will assess needs, implement care plans, and document outcomes while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires an RN license in Utah and BLS certification, with a sign-on bonus available for eligible full-time or part-time night shifts in ICU, Med Surg or ED. Enterprise Pool opportunities offer varied units and travel within markets.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement.
• RN License in state of employment.
• Two years RN experience. Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty.
• BLS from the American Heart Association required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, review of medical records & clinical data.
• Evaluates patient’s response and intervenes to ensure optimal patient outcome. Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes in accordance with nursing standards and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate competency in therapeutic/diagnostic interventions: IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, specimen collections.
• Maintain patient charts and records; document status, interventions, patient response and outcomes; use IT to communicate and support decisionmaking.
• Promote, advocate and collaborate to protect health and safety and rights of each patient.
• Provide patient/family education through assessment of learning readiness and needs; teach and evaluate effectiveness of teaching.
