Job summary

Atrium Health Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Float Pool to provide care across inpatient units. This full-time role offers 12-hour shifts and requires flexibility to float per unit needs, with a mix of day and weekend work as assigned.

Qualifications

• New graduate residency program experience may be required or considered.
• Active RN license in the practicing state with current BLS certification.
• Inpatient nursing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Maintain patient safety, document in EHR, and communicate with the care team.
• Triage and respond to patient needs while adhering to standards and policies.
• May float to other inpatient units based on staffing and patient needs.
