Job summary

Atrium Health Mercy seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for its Float Pool, enabling flexible nursing across inpatient units. The role offers a sign-on bonus and relocation incentive for eligible candidates, with robust benefits and PTO for new teammates.

Full-time days are available (three 12-hour shifts, 7am–7pm) with weekend and holiday requirements. Requires active RN license in the practicing state and BLS certification, plus 1 year of inpatient nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year inpatient nursing experience preferred.
• RN license in state of practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care per standards and policies.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans with the care team.
• Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR).
• Float to other units within the facility as needed.
